Benevolence runs a wide range of programs throughout the year. These are designed to support our diverse and ever-changing community needs. We aim to run education programs catering to various levels of knowledge, as social events to strengthen community unity and activities for children & families.
Some programs are weekly, while others are monthly and the remainder run at various times throughout the year.

Good Beginnings
‘Good Beginnings’ has been collaboratively developed by Benevolence Australia and ‘Sir Zelman Cowen Centre’ at Victoria University as a pre-marriage counselling resource for Muslim couples.
Eid Festivals
There are two holy days of celebration in Islam: Eid-al-Fitr at the conclusion of Ramadan and Eid-al-Adha, which marks the completion of the annual Hajj pilgrimage. These blessed days are celebrated at Bene with the congregational Eid salat (prayer) followed by a day of festivities and fun.
